New York Times - Anti KKK suit

Photo Illustration for the Sunday Op-Ed edition of the New York Times. Our brief was to create a suit for an anti-KKK marcher at a KKK rally.

Music has healing power. It has the ability to take people out of themselves, if only for a few hours. Bob Marley said it best: When it hits you, you feel no pain.

Our suit amplifies music and brings peace to a tense moment. Using hypnotic, shield-like plates, the wearer can stun and surprise those in the parade without causing physical conflict or disarray.

Comme des Garçons

It was such a huge honor to help introduce Comme Des Garçons’s mixed fragrance, CONCRETE, to their remarkable roster. As part of their campaign, Comme Des Garçons Perfume created an extraordinary object in collaboration with composer Neunau and Basaltes (with only 16 existing in the world). The result was a mysterious music sampler encased in concrete which reacts to, well, concrete!
