Taking the textures of NYC and giving them a new context.
Print All Over Me is an online platform for real-world collaboration and creation. They provide the tools that allow anyone to create, share, own, and produce their designs by uploading artwork that can be applied to seasonal collections of clothing and objects.
My collaboration with them takes its inspiration directly from the textures and mark-making of the everyday: the scuffs, the stains, the scratches and writings that we routinely walk past and forget. All of these textures have been gathered and re-purposed during explorations through the streets of NYC.
This collection re-contextualizes these elements onto PAOM clothing to reinvigorate the mundane. Manifesting into a context they are usually removed from giving them a platform/surface to live through.
